My brand new group has just started reading, Eat Cake, by Jeanne Ray. It's a very good book so far, with a surprise on the last pages (I read about that in a review).

Our book club read that last month. I couldn't get into it. I only read about 25 pages. We met the 3rd Tuesday of every month. Our local library runs it. Now we are ready Red Leaves. Very very good. I think at our next meeting on 9/19 they are going to pick the Kite Runner. I'm not sure if I am going to like that one or not.

Eeker You couldn't get into it?! WOW! I think it's one of the best fiction books I have ever read, and I'm an avid reader.

I think it's very witty, funny, original....The writing is very creative.

Oh well, to each their own. Smiler
