I thought I'd start a new link in regard to the first book. I think it's Pam, Jan and Dee as well as I that is reading it? Anyone else, please join us! And add your thoughts or observations here to share...

Hi Merty,
I'm going to be listening to this in my car. I've listened to the reader before and love her. She has a British accent. I'm sure I will be behind most of you, but that's okay. There are 28 discs. Eeker Tea

You guys are driving me bananas....I have it on my TBR but I am trying to finish Owen Meany and start Suite Francaise...maybe I will just have to visit your discussion if and when I get to Outlander..yikes. That is the glory of having seperate threads...but it is so much better participating when everyone is reading it...bummer...I am sure you will be moving on to the others in the series too ....I hear that the series is addicting.

Dee,
I will probably still be reading this book into September or book 2 as I have that one. I decided after starting about one chapter of that book, gee, I thought, I would love to revisit the Claire and Jaime of how they met, so that's how it all started for me, and that was when I first got BOSAA, and thought, gee, I had so much fun with the In Death series starting with book one, I should start with book #1 of the Outlander series too. I don't think I would have enjoyed the In Death series if I would have just jumped into it in the middle; however, these are completely different book, time period wise but great characters!

How's APFOM coming along for you, Dee? I just started it, I have to admit, I was worried but I really love it. Hope you are enjoying it too!

I've gone to the sparknotes upon reading the first chapter and I read the interview of JI, all gave me more insight in regard to the author and his writings and APFOM.
