I'd say it would have to be Tom the Builder from "Pillars of the Earth", at the time of his prime, of course.

And in the pole, I stayed honest and checked "desire", but Tom is resourceful and strong, and so this is also a practical decision!!

Ok, if I were younger, and if I were not married and this character were not married then it would have to be Roarke from the In Death series. Yes, Jamie Fraser would be a good pick as well!
