A certain head librarian (won't say who - don't want to start trouble for her) told our discussion group that she was having trouble getting enough copies for us.
It's still in the library system, but there are few copies. It is 'suspected' that the 'censor police' have been going around to the library branches and pulling the book off the shelf. Well! That, of course, made it all the more interesting to me! I was in the library yesterday and there were two books tucked into the corner of a shelf - a friend of mine was there and walked behind the desk, forked a copy for me, and I checked it out. The first paragraph blows you away - it's gonna' be a good read. The writer was originally raised in Pakistan and now lives in B. C. She writes of 'why' she is a Muslim 'Refusenik'. She's disgusted with the way the Muslim culture is going and is quite blunt and straightforward about why. I'm curious to find other people who are reading this book.
