A welcome/introduction thread so that we can introduce ourselves in one place?

Thanks for considering!

I would suggest just introducing ourselves when we start a new topic or discussion; that way people don't have to click away, to another part of the board, when they want to find out about someone who has started a new conversation.

I would also encourage people to fill out their personal profiles (click on "Go" and "Profile" in the message board controls) so that the info that each person wants available is there.

How about a "click recent topics" . I'm not exactly sure how to discribe it...There's just so many different boards here it would be nice to just be able to look at all the topics at once. If you go to http://www.paulding.com you can see what I'm talking about, there's all these different forums (like here) but you can click on "recent topics" and see them all from the most current posted.
It would be WONDERFUL if you could do that here. I kinda feel like I'm digging around and I think a lot of people might give up on this cite and it's so GREAT I wouldn't want that to happen.

At the top of every list page there's a "Find" button. Under that you can select "New since your Last Visit" or "Today's Active Topics" for a list the newest posts. You can also use the Keyword search if you're looking for something specific.

The right hand column of each list page also list the last time something was posted within that Category, Forum or Topic. On the Forum and Topic list pages it even includes the name of the author.

Hope this helps.
