The book club that I am in read "A Redbird Christmas" by Fannie Flagg last year. It is a sweet little read with a southern flair! Nothing too depressing. The book is short (less than 200 pages, I think) and a very easy read during this busy time of year! Also has some good "food ideas" (complete with recipes) if you like to have themed food at your book club gatherings!
