We all just give a rating on some set scale Like 1 to 5.
We just give it a thumps up or Down

THe group I belong to doesn;t really rate per se; what we do is read the book we have chosen, talk about it, and at the end, decide if it was worth the time we put into it or not. Occasionally we get a book that we decide would ahve been a fun read just for pleasure, but not worth a group discussion, some times we get a book that we wished we'd never chosen, but most of the time we enjoy our reads.

I don't personally have a set in stone rating system, I just know what I like.

We just started rating our books a few months ago and keeping a journal that we update every month. I thought it would be fun to look back and see what some of us thought of a few books that we read. I must admit, that I did get this idea from the momsreading.com webiste. They have so many great ideas on that site!
